Local printing gurus Pinball Publishing have always been the go-to printers for Needmore Designs, responsible for virtually every print job we’ve ever needed. They always do an excellent job, and they’re also very kind and creative folks, so it’s fun to work with them. There’s nothing better than working with people you like and admire.
In preparing another job for printing today, I stumbled across a new section of their website entitled the Creative Resource Center. Anyone can submit, and browse, listings of creative professionals. It’s very simply done, you can either “Look Now” or “List Now.” And it’s 100% free.
Smart. It seems likely that some people would find a printer that they want to work with, only to realize they haven’t found a designer to make the very thing they want to have printed. So this benefits not only potential clients, but the designers who are listed on the site are very likely to go to Pinball to have their work printed. Much like 37signals’ Job Board, they’re using leverage to help their business, with a little smart and simple application on their website.
