Scrapbooking for Inspiration

I’ve long thought of Scrapbooking as … well, pretty square. However, I’m not talking about that kind of scrapbooking. I’m talking about stopping for a minute, whenever you find something interesting on the web, and grabbing the image to put in iPhoto. It could be a photo, a PDF, even a screen shot of a page. Create an album for yourself, and keep these images in there for inspiration.

This has a number of advantages. You can take full advantages of the features iPhoto (or another program) gives you, such as slide shows, using them as desktop wallpaper, archiving, even printing books out of them for a mere ten bucks! You can also sync them with your iPod or iPhone, or print out larger copies to tack up in the office.

However you approach it, it’s a great way to keep around sources of inspiration in a digital age.
