Hither Coffee & Goods

in Our Work

Hither is a new coffee and goods market recently opened in Ashland. This is a space that invites you to sit down and stay a while.

We worked alongside owners Corrie and Wes to craft a visual identity as honest and pure as the space they are creating. On first meeting with the duo, one is struck by their humility on one hand and their considerable passion for, and knowledge of, of all things culinary on the other. Their passion is evident; after applying their energy to building spaces for others, they have spent years dreaming of opening a place of their own.

The project "achieved everything that we were hoping it would...we really stand out against the other restaurants in town.”

Wesley and Corrie Reimer, Owners of Hither, Ashland, OR

Ashland, Oregon is well know for its Shakesperaean festival. While the festival gives Ashland an international community of visitors each year, they city is also a thriving community where Wes and Corrie aim to grow roots.

The design would convey the modern, simple cuisine,  natural wines, carefully curated goods, and coffee that will be shared in the space. We took our inspiration from whimsical hand-lettered typography and herb illustrations, that delicate dance between working with one's hands and that which grows from the ground with nods to their commitment to working with local growers as well as the beautiful French style pastries Wes creates.
